Congratulations again to all our Winners of the 2011 Awards and we are now looking forward to 2012.

The Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence are celebrating their 10th Anniversary in 2012 and will once again be recognising and celebrating best practice within museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions across the UK. The Museums + Heritage Awards 2012 is the perfect opportunity to showcase your work and get the recognition you deserve! Open to operators and suppliers the Awards spotlight the truly exceptional work that goes into creating first class visitor attractions worldwide. With 11 categories there truly is an opportunity for everyone regardless of budget or profile.

For 2012 eleven categories have been created across the entire spectrum of the museum and heritage sector. The categories will be judged by a panel of experts from a range of industry sectors and specialisms. The judges will look for evidence of ‘outcome, creativity, relation to objective and cost effectiveness’. Winning entries will show all of this but they will also have to demonstrate something extra - true excellence!

Industry professionals will judge the final category, as M&H Magazine seeks to find the UK’s most popular museum, gallery or heritage attraction.
